Panasonic Corporation has made a notice today in Japan that the company will make a voluntary recall of designated models of dehumidifiers, involving three models of dehumidifiers which were sold in Hong Kong and Macau before, namely F-YZB10X (manufactured between 2006 and March 2008), F-YHC12X and F-YHE15X.

According to the report and analysis, in a very rare circumstance when foreign chemical compounds are absorbed in the desiccant rotor, and when fan speed decreases abnormally, the aforesaid models of dehumidifiers may have safety risk of ignition around the rotor. Panasonic and our Company place great emphasis on product safety and are committed to providing quality services to customers, thus decided to make a voluntary recall of the related dehumidifiers. Panasonic and our Company advise customers to stop using the aforesaid dehumidifiers in order to let our Company arrange free replacement accordingly.
